Doha Oasis is seeking for a creative and skilled UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. He/she will be responsible for crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for front end facing systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and engaging designs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to gather requirements and define design goals.
2. Conduct user research, user interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
3. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts.
4. Design user interfaces that are user-friendly, intuitive, and aligned with the brand’s visual identity.
5. Develop and maintain design guidelines, patterns, and libraries to ensure design consistency across products.
6. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, users, and usability testing results.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, design tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into the design process.
8. Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility of design implementation and provide assets and guidance during development.
9. Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to creating a culture of design thinking within the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related fields. Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience (5 years) as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous design projects.
3. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.
4. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
5. Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design decisions.
8. Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
9. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to think critically and solve design problems.
10. Experience in designing for various platforms, including web, mobile, and potentially other emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR).
11. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
