About the job
We are looking for an efficient Tech Lead to be a part of our In-house IT team. As a good tech lead, will be responsible for smooth functioning of all Software Development/Technical Operations. Besides, you will be identifying the project requirements and developing design structure.
The tech lead role also requires you to analyse ongoing projects and write progress reports on the same. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading the team members and overseeing their performance. You will be conducting security audits and system modifications along with the development team.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily technical operations and managing the Frontend & Backend Development Teams
- Assisting in training new employees and reviewing the high performing team
- Coordinating with the software development teams in addressing technical debt
- Analyzing project briefs, requirements and deliverables
- Preparing and presenting progress reports
- Developing and assigning work schedules/tasks
- Liaising with the development team for project completion
- Reviewing ongoing operations and rectifying any issues
- Scheduling training sessions for new employees and the technical staff
- Notifying any technical problems to the engineer responsible
- Communicating with the clients to ascertain their needs
- Checking and updating systems and software on a regular basis
- Conducting periodic security checks/audits
- Using good quality code to avoid monetary damage
- Understanding project requirements and developing detailed structure
- Implementing best practices and coding standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or any related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software/Mobile Developer or similar role
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead is a plus
- A certification in Project Management Professional is desirable
- Excellent technical expertise
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good leadership skills
- Knowledge of latest technologies and industry trends
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages like PHP, Java and Python
- Knowledge on Ruby on Rails and React Native
