Zuddl is a unified events and webinar platform for B2B marketers and conference organisers to plan and run webinars and event programs that drive revenue. Through software and service, Zuddl supports the entire event lifecycle (pre-event, in-event, post-event) regardless of the event format (webinar, hybrid, virtual or in-person).
We serve B2B companies like Highspot, Razorpay, and Microsoft and conference organisers like NACD, NAMIC, Saastr, Techcrunch, etc.
Zuddl being a part of the Y-Combinator 2020 batch has raised $13.35 million in Series A funding led by Alpha Wave Incubation and Qualcomm Ventures with participation from our existing investors GrowX Ventures and Waveform Ventures.
Responsibilities
- Work on highly interactive product with video, live streaming, real-time engagement etc
- Handle the backend with thousands of concurrent users on large-scale events
- Optimising app performance with developers and build for low-latency and high throughput
- Design and build High Availability architecture across various regions
- Collaborate with engineers for effective Developer experience and performance
- Participate in on-call process and uptime management
- Build and architect long-term infra planning based on changing business goals
- Effective cost and resource management
- Designing and implementing observability platform, infrastructure, and frameworks
- Implementing and maintaining systems for monitoring system health, logging, metrics and tracing
- Working with teams on load testing and improving deployments
- Planning for disaster scenarios and failover mechanisms
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience scaling and maintaining high impact production applications with hundreds of transactions per second (TPS)
- Deep understanding of distributed system architecture, micro services and operating systems
- Key expertise in AWS, Linux, DB admin (Postgres/Redis), Docker, Terraform etc
- Well versed in Logging, Monitoring and Alerting systems
- Programming and scripting knowledge a must – Bash and Python / Javascript preferred
- Well equipped with network and application security fundamentals
- Experience with load testing and in-depth analysis using APM and monitoring tools
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previously worked at top start-ups and/or startup founders highly preferred
