We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL/DB Administrator For Doha Qatar.

Duration : 1 year Contract (Onsite)

Location : Doha QATAR

Package: USD 4,000 monthly + Visa + Medical insurance

Key Responsibilities:

Design, architect, and implement highly available and scalable Microsoft SQL Server databases to meet business requirements and support critical applications.
Oversee database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities while ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to best practices.
Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and system configurations, to achieve optimal efficiency.
Develop and implement database security protocols, including access controls, encryption, and auditing, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Plan and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize data loss in case of system failures.
Collaborate with development teams to review database schema designs, optimize SQL queries, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Lead and execute database capacity planning, scaling, and architecture changes to support future growth and evolving business needs.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including database configurations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of extensive hands-on experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator in enterprise-level environments.
Advanced expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex Microsoft SQL Server databases (versions 2012, 2014, 2016, or later) in high-availability environments (Always On, Clustering, etc.).
Proven experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting in large-scale SQL Server environments.
In-depth knowledge of database security practices, including encryption, access controls, and compliance standards.
Strong proficiency in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or MCSE: Data Management and Analytics are highly desirable.
