We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OutSystems Senior Developer to join our dynamic and innovative development team.
As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge applications using the OutSystems low-code development platform. Your expertise and technical prowess will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX/UI designers, and project managers, to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and create effective software solutions.
Design and develop robust and scalable applications using the OutSystems platform, adhering to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and compliance with established guidelines.
Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to overcome them, contributing to continuous improvement and enhanced software development processes.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with testing teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, conduct system and integration testing, and resolve any defects or issues identified.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in OutSystems development, low-code technologies, and industry best practices, applying them to drive innovation and improve development efficiency.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, striving for efficiency and effectiveness in development practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in OutSystems development are a plus.
Extensive experience in developing enterprise-level applications using the OutSystems platform, including hands-on expertise in OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Agile methodologies.
Strong knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
Proficiency in working with relational databases and SQL queries.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Prior experience with mobile application development, RESTful APIs, and Agile/Scrum methodologies would be advantageous.
