• design and implement software solutions based on customer needs and requirements
• deep dive in the system and explore development options
• explore the system landscape in a complex environment, but with the start up feeling of a newly built-up team
• build and support our enterprise applications web-based software applications
• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• analyze business requirements to provide personalized, relevant, seamless solutions for our clients

Your team

You’ll be working in the Analytics team at BSH QATAR, closely collaborating with colleagues located in Zurich, Basel and Pune and we provide UBS wide reporting solutions, integrating classical data warehouse and advanced analytics solutions, including near real-time reporting.

• bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, related discipline or equivalent experience
• ideally 10+ years of experience as a Senior Java developer within the DWH / financial sector
• strong in Java/J2ee, Ajax, Spring boot , Spring microservices, SQL
• conduct software design & development across the whole software development lifecycle
• passionate about working with data and development of analytical applications
• proactive, looking for creative and innovative solutions
• experience in test automation tool, react.js or angular.js is a plus
• comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• fluent in English
