Job description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical & Design Engineer specializing in I.T and Network Structure will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient information technology systems and network infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to the development and improvement of the organization’s technological capabilities, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Design and Planning:

Develop comprehensive technical designs and specifications for I.T and network infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of existing systems and network architecture to identify areas for improvement.

2.Network Infrastructure Implementation:

Lead the implementation and deployment of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Configure and optimize network components to ensure secure and efficient data flow.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary enhancements or modifications.

3.System Architecture and Integration:

Design and implement server and storage solutions to support business applications and services.
Collaborate with software development teams to integrate applications with existing infrastructure.
Ensure system compatibility, scalability, and adherence to industry standards.

4.Security and Compliance:

Assess and mitigate potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and breaches in the network and systems.
Implement robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

5.Documentation and Support:

Create detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and end-users.
Collaborate with the help desk and support teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (Minimum 10 years) as a Technical & Design Engineer, with a focus on I.T and network infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, topologies, routing, and switching.
Proficiency in network design and administration, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and VLAN.
Experience with network security technologies and best practices.
Familiarity with server and storage technologies, virtualization, and cloud computing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent are desirable.
