OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SaaS DevOps Engineer to join our team based out of our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud infrastructure, a deep understanding of the DevOps methodology and software development skills. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our SaaS platform, with a focus on continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure automation, monitoring, security, and compliance. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the stability, scalability, security of our platform and continuously improve the solution and our processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Designing, Implementing, maintaining, and supporting our AWS SaaS infrastructure.
* Automate infrastructure monitoring and alerting for resources, reliability, and security.
* Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
* Provide technical support to clients.
* Develop and deploy patches to software and systems.
* Work with the engineering team to develop new Cloud native components.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DevOps technologies and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud infrastructure engineering role.
* Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting, Java and SQL.
* Experience with Cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure.
* Experience with configuration management tools such as CloudFormation.
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
* Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
* Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
* Understanding of certifications and methodologies such as SOC 2, ISO27001.
* A desire for continuous self-education on current and emerging technologies.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
