Rhetora is a UAE-based startup building an AI-driven platform to reskill sales professionals.
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our founding engineering team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience working with React and a strong understanding of modern frontend technologies. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for leading the development of the company’s web applications, collaborating with the development team, and ensuring the technical feasibility of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Rhetora’s web applications using React.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices and design patterns.
- Collaborate with the development team, product owners, and stakeholders to design and implement new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability using webpack, babel, and other build tools.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in frontend development and implement new technologies as appropriate.
- Lead the development team in best practices and code reviews.
- Collaborate with the back-end team to ensure seamless integration of the front-end and back-end portions of the platform.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience working with React, building large-scale web applications.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as Redux, Next.js, etc.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills, experience with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with React Native is a plus.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques and webpack configuration.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, etc.
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
