Overview
Looking for an astute, proficient and qualified AI Engineer to assess, analyze and work with data concepts, AI use-cases & complex new data sources to provide business insights to customers and support the implementation & integration of the data sources into the Presight platform.

Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to have a solid background in software development/data analysis/data engineering with strong Python coding skills to solve challenging problems.
Working with big data frameworks such as Spark and related tools (PySpark, HiveSQL)
Web crawling, data cleaning, data annotation, data ingestion, and data processing.
Reading and collating complex data sets
Creating and maintaining end-to-end AI/ML/data workloads and pipelines from development to deployment to indexing, dashboarding, and visualizations
Continual focus on process improvement to drive efficiency and productivity within the team
Support the development and maintenance of AI expert systems and dockerized ML API microservices
Use of Python, SQL, ES, and Bash, among other tools to develop and deploy ML solutions
Provide insights into key business performance metrics by building analytical tools that utilize the data pipeline
Support the wider business with their data needs on an ad hoc basis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in AI/ML/DS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related fields
3+ years of programming experience, solid coding skills in Python, SQL and experience with PySpark, Docker, REST APIs, PyTorch, Transformers, sklearn, and other AI/ML frameworks/libraries
Good corporate capacity, and good communication skills.
Knowledge of machine learning and big data analytics and mining techniques in one or more areas of statistical modeling, text mining, and information retrieval.
An innovative and creative approach to problem-solving
Strong AI, analytical, and data visualization skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ideally, you’ll also need
Master’s degree in AI/ML/DS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related fields.
Experience with Web crawling, and cleaning is a plus
Experience with solution architecture, data ingestion, query optimization, data segregation, ETL, ELT, AWS, EC2, S3, SQS, lambda, Elasticsearch, CI/CD frameworks and workflows is a plus
Knowledge of best practices in optimizing columnar and distributed data processing systems and infrastructure is a plus
Working knowledge of data platform concepts – data lake, data warehouse, ETL, big data processing (designing and supporting variety/velocity/volume), real time processing architecture for data platforms, scheduling and monitoring of ETL/ELT jobs is a plus
