The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible to prioritize security within its DevOps culture through automation. This role requires a blend of technical and automation skills, security knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain security automation tools within the CI/CD pipeline
- Automate security checks to ensure continuous security assessment throughout the SDLC
- Manage and configure security tools such as SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP, and SCA
- Ensure that security tools are effectively integrated into the development workflow
- Configure and manage the centralized vulnerability management platform and its integration with JIRA
- Ensure all findings are registered on the vulnerability management platform and JIRA covering the lifecycle of the vulnerability
- Automate related security processes to minimize manual intervention and ensure consistency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience with DevOps tools and methodologies
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure security is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP,CEH, or CompTIA Security+ can be beneficial
