As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary to support our product development.
You will work closely with software development teams to automate and streamline the software delivery process, from code changes to production.
You will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the systems to ensure our infrastructure keeps running smoothly. You will ensure that our infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable. You will also be responsible for monitoring the health of our systems and responding to alerts as needed.
In this role, you will be expected to collaborate with our teams to identify and implement solutions that improve our development and deployment processes. You will also be responsible for staying up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends and making recommendations to the team as appropriate.

Tenderd (YC S18) is an AI powered analytics platform for sustainable fleet operations. We help companies increase productivity of capital equipment and vehicles, optimize logistics, maintenance and reduce carbon emissions during operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain our deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and tooling
- Automate and optimize our development processes
- Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of our infrastructure
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth deployments and uptime for our services
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts
- Work closely with the security team to ensure the infrastructure is secure
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that the team is following best practices and writing clean, maintainable code
- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies and make recommendations to the team as appropriate
- Document infrastructure and deployment processes
- Design systems to be Fault Tolerant
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience with cloud computing platform GCP
- Experience with serverless technologies such as GCP Cloud Run or GCP Cloud Functions
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and databases
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Ruby
- Experience with Linux systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices for DevOps
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK
- Experience with log management tools such as Splunk or Sumo Logic
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
