CWallet is a fintech as a service startup currently running multiple products starting with the QWallet mobile
app. End users can send and receive money, make merchant payments and much more. We are an agile
team running bi-weekly sprints and releasing product updates faster.
We are looking for a DevOps engineer with expertise in Azure architecting, engineering and operating
production/development environments, Azure cloud infrastructure, tracking projects, and driving
operational optimization initiatives. Fully hands-on position.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in Azure Cloud engineering and experience in Azure DevOps pipelines.
- 2+ years and fully hands-on with Azure Kubernetes Services – administration, maintenance,
- upgrades, deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- DevOps CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Testing, State Management, and Cloud Orchestration.
- Proficiency with SQL and database administration, monitoring, and performance management.
- Azure cloud certification is a plus, not a must.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in Cloud services, DevOps/ DevSecOps toolsets and platforms including compute, storage, networking, security, Kubernetes, service mesh, CI/CD as well as monitoring and logging technologies.
- Drive automation of Cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, self-service, Infrastructure-as-Code Terraform, and Auto Scale initiatives.
- Implement security baselines and standards for Azure resources including network access, restriction of internet-facing resource provision and configuration within the Azure environment.
- Optimizing solution architectures to manage costs and identify cost control mechanisms.
- Provide expertise and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure.
- Work with application teams with their digital transformation goals and provide Azure resource deployment orchestration, automation, security, and configuration expertise.
- Work with the applications team to draft and institutionalize cloud security standards, reference architecture, patterns and guidelines for both cloud-native development and migrations.
- Work with the IT Security Team, Solution Architect, and Development teams on security-related issues.
- Conceptualizing, presenting, and executing ideas within a tight schedule, with emphasis on serving as an Azure SME on development projects.
- Application and infrastructure incident response.
