Overview
Frame is a suite of minimalist collaboration apps built to empower cross-teams and cross-department work in a beautiful minimalist digital environment. As a fast-growing startup, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to help us build and maintain a scalable data infrastructure.As the Data Engineer at Frame, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipeline, ensuring that data is properly collected, processed, and analyzed to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and analytics, to understand their data needs and ensure that our data infrastructure supports those needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of our data.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain our data pipeline to ensure that data is properly collected, processed, and analyzed to inform business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and ensure that our data infrastructure supports those needs
Ensure the integrity and security of our data
Work with the engineering team to build data models that support business reporting and analytics
Implement and maintain data quality checks and data monitoring to identify data anomalies and ensure data accuracy
Optimize the performance of our data infrastructure to ensure scalability and efficiency
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong foundation in computer science, software development, and data analysis
Expertise in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL
Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing services such as AWS Redshift, S3, and EMR
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
