Introduction

As a backend developer, you will work on complex integration issues where enterprise-level e-commerce environments, PIMs, and ERPs integrate seamlessly in order to achieve increasingly higher throughput. You are eager to learn and can help us deliver our digital e-commerce B2B and B2C stores for our internal businesses, worldwide.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for Designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend components for Magento 2-based e-commerce websites. This while collaborating with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with frontend design.We will support you with training and coaching to develop your skill and enable you to succeed in your role. No two days are the same, so you’ll find yourself taking on plenty of new responsibilities as you go.

• Work on complex integration issues, where enterprise-level e-commerce environments, PIMs, and ERPs integrate seamlessly in order to achieve increasingly higher throughput.
• Help build the foundation of this integration and make sure we get the most out of the Adobe Commerce product
• Work in small teams from different locations in the world with roles including Frontend, Quality Assurance, and by the guidance of a Product Owner
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with established coding standards
• Develop and implementing strategies for optimizing website performance, including database performance, caching, and other optimization techniques.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that project deadlines are met
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, and recommending improvements to the development process

• Have at least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining Magento 2-based e-commerce websites
• Are experienced with PHP, jQuery, and other backend technologies
• Have a very good knowledge of working with Microsoft Azure DevOps, and Scrum methodology
• Have experience with Magento 2 development, including knowledge of Magento 2 architecture and best practices, and with Git and other version control systems
• Have knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
